Issue #78  (The Complete Guide to Mastery) 08/10/20

I just came across a fantastic interactive website for those interested in getting in better physical shape – something as important as ever during the current health crisis: MuscleWiki.

MuscleWiki

Choose "Male" or "Female", select a type of exercise, then click on a body part. That takes you to a page that lists exercises for the selected body part for the chosen categories. Pretty great!

Now on to this week's hand-picked productivity links!

Tools & Apps

OneLook - A dictionary search with wildcards. Over 18 million words in 1000+ dictionaries indexed.

Glitterly - Create and share videos of your app. Produce high-quality videos without watermarks, no download or signup required.

TimeArrest - Windows app that tracks your daily activity and helps you on your timesheet entries.

Jitsi - This is the open-source alternative to Zoom. It has some limitations but not a bad option for free video conferencing.

Holopod - Automated Slack status updates for remote teams. Update your Slack status to turn down the noise and get your best work done.

Articles & Resources

A Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Permanently Flipped Workplace - Allison Baum thinks the workplace has changed permanently and this is the structure she's seen that works best.

Mindful Productivity Framework - A decent read if you are like the author and you feel like your ambitions far outweigh your productivity levels.

A 70 Year-Old's Secret To a Full and Happy Life - I don't agree with this but I think it's an important suggestion that can help in certain situations.

The Complete Guide to Mastery - A comprehensive and culturally-enriched guide to becoming the best at your craft.

Building a Career from Different Income Streams - Anne Ditmeyer's guide to a less traditional approach to earning a living.
