A few months back a Hacker News reader asked Entrepreneurs, how long did it take you to succeed? It's an interesting question because the reader had to edit his post to explain what he means by 'success'.

Truth is, many would view a fun side project that doesn't make any money a success. While others wouldn't classify anything as successful unless it turned a significant profit.

Sucess

While there's naturally a lot of discussion about the meaning of success, the top comment is from the creator of CD Baby, which was founded in 1998 by Derek Sivers.

Hopefully you'll find some of the answers in that thread refreshing and motivating, since many of them are honest about their failures as well as their successes.

Now on to this week's hand-picked productivity links!
