In theory, knowing keyboard shortcuts for our operating system of choice is going to increase our productivity significantly. But the catch is that we have to learn the keyboard shortcuts and retain the information. That is, we have to know them and allow them to become second nature to us.

If you're a Mac user, you might benefit from this list of lesser-known tips and tricks for macOS. Many of the tips are shortcut key combinations but there are also some other general macOS tips as well.

The tips are divided into 19 different categories. There isn't an on-page internal link list to the subheadings, which would help, but it's a huge list of tips that you may find yourself going back to multiple times to learn new things.
