If you're interested in the impact of AI on the workplace, you'll want to check out a recent Work Trend Index Annual Report from Microsoft and LinkedIn. It looks at three main findings: Employees wanting AI at work, how AI is raising the bar, and what the rise of the AI power user reveals about the future.

Pie Chart about the Future of AI and work

The report is quite extensive, as described in the intro:

"To help leaders and organizations overcome AI inertia, Microsoft and LinkedIn looked at how AI will reshape work and the labor market broadly, surveying 31,000 people across 31 countries, identifying labor and hiring trends from LinkedIn, and analyzing trillions of Microsoft 365 productivity signals as well as research with Fortune 500 customers."

The page includes some nicely organized and graphical data points. You can also get a brief summary by downloading the executive summary (PDF) or the full report (PDF) if you want all the details.
