If you're somewhat new to finance and investment phrases and terminology, but it's something you'd like to delve more into, you'll enjoy this Twitter thread by Codie Sanchez where she describes 16 terms every VC knows but most investors don't.

This terminology is certainly outside my area of knowledge and so most of these were unknown to me. And I appreciate that she admits: "We in finance like to make ourselves look smart by using acronyms and big words."

A lot of this is definitely industry-level jargon that can be off-putting to newcomers. But maybe this will help you if it's a niche you're trying to break into.
